Everything wrong 
With the world 
Can be made right 
If only 
Truth and Justice 
Would take up
The fight.
War is hell
Is what they say
Yet grown men
Still come out
To play.
Others are born 
With silver spoons 
In their mouths 
Toxic behavior 
Who will pull
The spoons out.
Children living
With no faith 
With no hope 
Yet who 
Among us 
Will balance 
Life's tightrope??

Like a bird
In the sky
I soar
Like a lion
Hunting prey
I roar
Like a flower
In spring 
I bloom  
Like a smile 
That brings 
Happiness not doom
Like love
That once was
Like the cooing 
Of a long lost dove
