there's not a day
that goes by
that i don't think
of you
and all the things we promised
and said that we would do.
i miss you more than these mere words
can convey
but my fervent prayer
is that we will meet again soon
some day.
why God took you from me
i will never understand
maybe his plan
is not meant for
mortal man.
i see you at night
alive in my dreams
but everything is not
as it appears or as it seems.
so now what am i supposed to do
when fantasy becomes reality
and i wake up alone
without you.
